Moment Capture

I've been really busy this past month and spending any spare time that I have sleeping so blogging hasn't really been a priority. Pregnancy induced tiredness leads to pregnancy induced crankiness and no one wants to read a blog post written by a crank. Anyway, I decided to start something called "Moment Capture" for times when my mind can't think to blog about anything in particular. Rather than just neglecting my blog, I'll write about what's going on around me and hopefully that will lead to an interesting enough post! So here we go...
Outside my window...the neighbor kids are playing. The sun is shining and there isn't a cloud in the sky. It's still colder than I'd like it to be but when the sun hits my face I can forget about the temperature.
I am wearing...black dress pants, a plain green maternity t-shirt, and a grey cardigan. I feel like it's been cold the entire time that I've been pregnant! Summer maternity clothes are a lot cuter but everyone tells me that being pregnant in the summer is miserable so I shouldn't complain.
I am thinking...about the nursery! We finally have a room designated as the nursery and it is completely empty. All we need now is baby stuff! Here are some ideas of what I picture it looking like. The room is already painted blue so I'm just going to work with that. Without knowing the gender, I am trying to think of things that could be made more feminine or masculine once the baby is here. I guess it's sort of a mix of European and retro? I am planning on making a lot of things myself because I enjoy crafts and it's cheaper!
I love the colors...teal and yellow make it really bright. I think this one is simple but still interesting and fun.
This one is a little bit more girly but still the blue and yellow that I like. Just to prove that I can make a blue room girly!I am thankful...for all of the blessings God has given me...my wonderful husband who is just the best thing that has ever happened to me, this little baby that I love so much, my sweet Lou-doggie who is basically the greatest comic relief of all time, all of my wonderful family and friends, and so much more! I could go on and on with this one!
I am dreaming...of traveling. I want to go to Barcelona to meet my husband's family including his half brother and niece! I want to see Nice and Athens. I want to go back to Italy and Germany, two of my favorite places on earth. Oh, and San Diego...I want to go back to San Diego as soon as I can and then never leave. San Diego just might be the most perfect place to live and it's my goal in life to move there someday : ) How could this not be the greatest place to live?
