Just a quick 34 week update...

I'm still feeling pretty good overall. I love feeling this little one's kicks getting stronger and stronger. Sleeping is getting increasingly hard and I have officially taken over every pillow in our house (including decorative ones) in order to get comfortable...poor Dan! I still wake up 4-5 times every night but as long as I can find a comfortable position to fall back asleep in, I don't mind. I've also gotten a tad crankier in last few weeks : ) Here are a few pictures that I just took (can't get more up to date than that).

I had to take these myself so the quality isn't great but you get the idea...

Front view.

Side view.

And the poor little Lou-Doggie that doesn't know what's about to hit him!

My list of things that I am looking forward to once I am no longer pregnant is growing faster than my belly. Let's start with the most important first:

1. A "Dirty Sheed" from Zingerman's. If you've never been to Zingerman's or never tried this drink, I feel really bad for you.

2. Blue cheese. I don't really care what it's on...a salad, a sandwich, you name it and I want it.

3. Red meat. Of any kind. This child will not let me even smell it but I am really craving it. Weird I know.

4. Sleeping on my stomach. I am not, nor have I ever been, a stomach sleeper. I think I just want to try it now because it's not an option. Also, doing a sit-up. I just can't even remember what it feels like to do one.

5. Wearing pants that don't have elastic at the top. I have to admit, they are pretty darn comfortable (but not all that flattering).

6. Getting a pedicure. Enough said.

7. Playing volleyball. I played up until about 27 weeks or so and then I was just bringing my entire team down. Also, I tipped over into the net which was a good sign that my time had come.

8. Wearing a pretty dress and actually feeling pretty in it.

9. Not having to hear from one stranger that I'm carrying low which means it's a boy and then 5 minutes later hearing from another stranger that I'm carrying high which means I probably have a few more week to go. Really? I didn't know that I had asked for your opinion...thank you very much.

10. Sushi, sushi, sushi.

Although, I am going to miss a few things too. Like having the baby safe with me 24/7 and feeling him/her kick all the time. I'm also going to miss being treated like a queen, by Dan anyway. Not by the random person at Borders who shoved me out of the way to get through the door, or the co-worker who called me fat. But Dan always treats me like a queen so I won't have to miss that.

Just a few more weeks before we get to see what this little buggaboo looks like! Can't wait!

That's it. I'm making you some sort of steak with blue cheese when the baby's born.

Oh Linds your list of things you want to do again reminded me of my list when I was pregnant. I remember two of my biggies were being able to get a really good hug from dad again and to be able to put my shoes on without a struggle. Those days will be here soon for you. Love you.

Oh yeah, the list. Totally forgot about that. I couldn't stand the smell of meat either, and that stuck for good. I've hated cooking meat ever since, but I can eat it. I know I had a huge list as well, but I really loved being pregnant too.
